Edith Piaf

Edith Piaf was a great singer. Even though her life surely wasn´t a walk through the rose garden, she became one of the most accomplished cultural icons of all the time. Her famous chansons, or phenomenal voice takes breath till these days. She has still been an inspiration for many other singers. And film industry has made a decision to put her life on a cinema screens.

The film is told in a few story lines, showing singers destiny. We take a look into her problematic childhood, when she nearly lost her sight, we get know her biggest successes, tragic romance with boxer Cerdan, but also her alcohol and drug abusing or chitchat with mafia. We follow her life till bitter fall to very bottom. Edith´s chansons have been changing through all the story, whether in original or instrumental form.
